Mages must choose a technique and a source for each ability, and they must choose an alignment. The abilities may be three weak, one strong and one weak, or one weak per person. Please email an admin for permission for powers. This must be included in the "Race" section of the application.
Technique- Lyrical / Verbal ;; incantations or phrases must be spoken aloud.
- Symbolic / Written ;; symbols or designs must be drawn or on hand.
- Summoning ;; must have talisman or symbolic object, or design specific to summon on hand if the summon is a creature or spirit ;; non-living objects may be summoned instantly.
- Conjuror or Summoner
- Necromancer
- Routing / Objectifying ;; uses a wand, talisman, or totem to route magic through ;; magic may be stored in the object or only channelled through.
- Mental ;; requires massive concentration and is the most emotionally hazardous.
- Enchanter / Enchantress
- Seer
- Physical ;; magic is channeled directly through the user without any go-betweens or hesitation.
- Permutation ;; changing one thing into another ;; very limited.
Source- Personal energy ;; fastest and quickest method, but can cause physical damage ;; requires a lot of training.
- Network ;; dependent on community pool of magic and limits on use.
- Object or talisman ;; easiest to control, but tends to deplete faster.
- Surroundings ;; easiest to access, but most noticeable to non-magic-users ;; draws attention of all around.
- Familiar ;; dependent on relationship between familiar and user.
Alignment- White - Light - Good
- Grey - Neutral
- Black - Dark - Evil
- Sorcerer, Warlock, Necromancer
