No New Posts Rat Island

New York City purchased the island in 1888. It became a mini colony for writers and artists in the early 20th Century. It was evactuated due to flood risks. Used in the 1800's as a quarantine island for about 40 typhoid victims. Venture if you dare.

Board Description
City Island
A small island just off the coast of the Bronx, past Pelham Bay Park. It's basically a harbor neighborhood, and another small harbor island, Hart Island, is a little east of it. A smaller desolate island, Rat Island, is in between City and Hart, but is it really desolate?
