New York is the world's melting pot, so Manhattan has to adjust. Now, the cultures have settled down in places like Chinatown and Little Italy.

Looking for a nice date or a day with the family? Kissena Park is your place, then. With a zoo, museum, stadium, and a lake, the park is a great place to have a fun, relaxing day with friends.

A small area in Northwestern Queens with a few parks and a mall. It's name stands for the college housing around there. If you're going to college in Queens, you'll probably live here.

Flying in to New York? Wanna see a ball game? LaGuardia and the Mets are all in East Elmhurst, and for you who like nice apartments, there's always Jackson Heights.

With the Country Club and the Rice Stadium all located in the same place, only the richest of the bunch would come to live here. Even though the City is on the opposite side of the island, it's a great safe place to stay.

With a hospital and School for Medicine right next to each other, this is a great place for anyone interested in medicine. The arts are also pretty dominant here, with two schools for it, and a few other buildings. The residencies here, though, just aren't as nice, but you get what you pay for.

A less known spot in the Bronx, but the location of the Yankees Stadium.

A small island just off the coast of the Bronx, past Pelham Bay Park. It's basically a harbor neighborhood, and another small harbor island, Hart Island, is a little east of it. A smaller desolate island, Rat Island, is in between City and Hart, but is it really desolate?

An island just off of Harlem and the southern section of The Bronx. Sports fields and stadiums litter this island due to recent rebuilding.

Home to several public facilities, including Manhattan Psychiatric Center and Kirby Forensic Psychiatric Center(which serves the criminally insane). It is also home to Wards Island Park.

Ellis Island is probably the most historical island around New York. This also includes Liberty Island and Governor's Island.

A long island in between Manhattan and Queens that makes a very strategic place to cut off traffic. Of course, no one would really want to do that, so it's pretty much just a small island with a park and a major bridge.

A very popular island in South Brooklyn, with Brighton Beach and the Coney Island Pier. It also contains the New York Aquarium and the original Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs.

A very popular college centered only around theatre and dance. It's extremely expensive, though, and unless you get more than one scholarship, you're going to have to pay something. Located in the Ansonia, right next to Central Park on Broadway. [Location: Manhattan]

A less expensive college near Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx. Cheaper doesn't mean less education, just less choices and a farther location from Manhattan. It's still about a half an hour away, and offers some pretty nice classes in Education, Science, the Arts, and Engineering.

Sub-boards: Manhattan School of Sciences, Manhattan School of Engineering, Manhattan School of Education, Manhattan School of Business, Manhattan School of Arts, The Jaspers/Lady Jaspers

A college that is obviously located in Queens. Smaller with less classes than the Manhattan College, but also cheaper, and it includes majors in Social Studies, along with Math & Science, the Arts & Humanities, and Education.

Located in New York City, Coral Towers offers low-cost living and single and double spaces.

Over 2 million works of art from around the world and throughout history are housed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is an iconic art museum that is well worth a visit.

Renovations since its opening in 1913 have turned Grand Central into more than just a hub for transportation -- there are shops, dining and more available to visitors.

The headquarters for the United Nations, a world government that contains many different countries from all over. A place strictly for business, world politics, and diplomacy, of course.

The Rockefeller Center in midtown Manhattan, is known for its Christmas tree, ice skating, Top of the Rock Observation Deck, Radio City Music Hall and numerous shopping and dining opportunities. Rockefeller Center is a great destination for visitors any time of year.

Times Square, the Crossroads of the World, and the most crowded intersection. Famous for its lights and its culture, and don't forget the dropping of the New Years Eve Ball during the New Years Celebration. Plenty of the world's biggest gatherings are held here, and crazy things happen almost 24/7, but it's the heart of New York, and it's loved by everyone.

The site of the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center. This area holds a lot of emotion, especially from the native New Yorkers, and the Americans that lost loved ones. A huge Museum and Cultural Center is being built here to honor and remember the Twin Towers.

The largest building in New York City, and one of the most popular. Not only is it a huge building for business, but it's a huge tourist magnet. It even has an observation platform at the top for a beautiful view of Manhattan.

An extremely popular arena in New York that hosts everything from Basketball games to Rock Concerts to Theatrical Shows. A very nice stadium, with a high price to match.

The capital of America, and one of the largest political cities in the world. Almost every American monument and major political building is located here, along with other attractions.
